The U.S. Coast Guard has accepted Alaska Response Company’s Alternative Planning Criteria (APC) Pathway to Protection dated 24 February 2016 submitted per Title 33, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), 15.5067. Therefore, Alaska Response Company’s APC is now approved for nontank vessels carrying OPA-90 regulated oils as fuel for main propulsion or as a secondary cargo operating within the Western Alaska COTP Zone for the following subareas: Aleutian Islands, Bristol Bay, and Kodiak Island.Learn More
